From Professional Athlete to Acupuncturist
Before becoming an acupuncturist, I represented Team GB as a skier and played football for Scotland, Hibernian, and Celtic FC. My athletic career came with its challenges, including injuries and surgeries, which sparked my fascination with the body’s ability to heal. This journey led me to study at the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM), where I earned a first-class BSc (Hons) degree after 3.5 years of rigorous training in Five-Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. These systems provide a strong foundation for accurate diagnosis and effective treatments, helping me deliver highly personalised care to my clients.
In addition to my formal acupuncture education, I have expanded my expertise through CPD and Diploma courses, including advanced channel palpation with Jason Robertson (apprentice of Dr Wang), Dr Tan’s Balance Method, facial enhancement and paediatric acupuncture. Alongside this, I hold Level 2 and 3 personal training qualifications, which enable me to offer guidance on stretches and exercises where I deem appropriate. By combining academic study, advanced training, and personal experience, I aim to support clients on their journey towards better health, balance, and vitality.
I can’t wait to meet you and work together to help you reach your full health potential!
